Ellsbury is exactly what we DONT need. Another injury prone player with loads of potential. At least Bourn has proven he can stay healthy.

Bourn is not an impact player, especially when asking for 15 mil per, boras is on crack

I don't like Ellsbury's injury history and I hate getting Fenway players.

The other thing I don't like is one huge power year and nothing else came close to what he did in 2011.

The Red Sox lost 90 games last year with Ellsbury on the DL for most of it. The Mets would lose 90 or more with Ellsbury having yet another stint on the DL. Maybe it's better the Mets don't sign a Boras client who is good when healthy but will always be getting hurt, will be overpaid, and will never duplicate his 2011 season.

That would be the smart thing to do. Never should we ever have a boras client again.

Why is everyone so high on Ellsbury? Injuries, bad years, needs to have a great 2013 for more teams to like him.

Not too sure, and when people point to Bourn's value being derived from his legs at an advancing age as a detriment, wouldn't the same apply to Ellsbury?
