Mickey strikes me as kind of goofy. An ideal Pancho to Scioscia's Cisco.

But if the angels are from Los Angeles why are they valued at less than half of what the Dodgers are valued?

I'm scratching my head on this one...

On my way to Long Beach last Saturday, I saw a couple of Pujols billboards to the side of the freeway. All they were was an action shot of him and the caption, "OMG". That's probably what the Angels are going to be saying when he's 41 years old and they have to pay him $30 million.

yeah, like the Yankees now with Arod and Jeter. These teams never learn, bonds did it but we know why.

#######In my neighborhood (Valinda) we called it Chavez Ravine and that was where the Dodgers played,#####################

well where I come from it was Dodger Stadium. Of course the angels didn't like that name, they called it chavez ravine, which is why no self respecting dodger fan would ever call it chavez ravine.
With that said, the new owner ought to build a new stadium in a nice area. Which is the problem, where is a nice area in LA ? Would have to go somewhere in LA county

Frank had a couple of nice big houses in Holmby Hills. Maybe we could level those for the room we need.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim "fans" like to tout how they are taking over L.A. because there are a few billboards in there that they paid for.

L.A. Dodgers number three in jersey sales nation-wide. Su.C.k it! (not directed at you! :) )
