Yes, I am saying that a man who has this line in the playoff's: 2.52 ERA, 7-3 win/loss, 82 IP with 10BB and 89 K's (more than one an inning), and a WHIP of, no this is not an error, 0.927 (YES I WROTE .927!). Sure his last three postseason starts have not been very good, actually they have been pretty bad, but that only makes the line I provided above more amazing.
Look at Pettittes postseason line, being that he is arguably one of the best PS pitchers in recent memory, maybe all-time, and you will see similar blimps on the radar: his 1999 postseason has very bad numbers even though he won 2 out of 3 games, his 2002 appearance against the Angels was a horror show, his time with Houston was all right to mediocre, and he has had other horrible postseasons throughout that time frame.
If you really do not think that Lee would make this team an infinitely better team than I suspect you are a very bitter person, or understand absolutely nothing about baseball.
