I think you sound like you are in desperation mode. You are hoping for a miracle from Turner who is going to get lit up and you are expecting us to sweep the Pirates. You are going to be disappointed on both fronts. That is my opinion.

I expect Turner to pitch a gem tonight. It's time for him to show why he's a top prospect. He's had 54 starts in the minors and his last 3 for Toledo he has went 6+ innings and hasn't gave up more then 1 earned run.

I think St Louis, who's bats have been held in check so far in this series, is going to light the young man up today.

Usually when we speculate "showcase" game that doesn't work out well either.

For all of the pain meds that I am on, I really don't feel as optimistic as I should when I think about the team.

I don't like showcase games. Tigers had gotten to within 2 games and now it's 3. Lose today and with a tough 10 game road trip coming up we could undo all the good things and be back by 6 again.

The Indians and Sox have a tough 10 games coming up as well.
