I've said on here in the past that, because Frieri has so far given up no runs since joining the Angels, I'm a nervous wreck every time he pitches. I know he'll get the save, especially if we lead by at least two runs, but that "I'm only human" statistic that says eventually he'll give up a run is driving me batty. LOL!
Even Dipoto in a recent interview on TV said Frieri was human and he meant he'd finally give up a run at some point.
You know that for quite a while, Frieri hadn't even give up a base hit. We were at whatever game it was the night he finally gave up one hit. I breathed more easily at that point! I said out loud that now it wouldn't be so tense worrying that he'd give up base hits. It was good to be past having to worry about that.
So now that he's given up four hits in four separate games, it's no big deal!
