Most callups have worked out but Kalish is not one of them. Need to get back one of the other guys.

DL.

The Sox are pathetic in extra innings.

Ryan Sweeney took BP on the field early this afternoon and looked pretty good. He has been on the disabled list since June 17 with a stress fracture in his left big toe.

Sweeney has an orthotic he is wearing to take pressure off his toe and is feeling better. "I want to see how I feel after I run on it and wear spikes but it's definitely improving."

We may get scotty pods or even ellsbury or crawford back first.

Has an inflamed big toe, and no one on the medical staff ever heard of CORTAZONE.

Kalish looks badly overmatched. I can't blame him, basically not having played in a year and a half. But it's obvious he doesn't belong on a major league field right now.

Still on DL, but apparently took BP the other day. They have him listed as TBD for return.

How many shutout innings can Aceves pitch? He may need a lot at the rate the offense is going.

Nice play by Gonzo!

They seem to hit a ton of flyball outs, but in those situations with a guy on 2nd and nobody out where it could move a guy to 3rd they don't seem to be able to hit one. They also K a lot in those situations.

Why do our pitchers keep throwing hittable 0-2 pitches

the end is near, Im going to say this before it's over, we can't go back to playing 500 baseball, we started off too slow
