Factoid:
You can scratch your throat by massaging your ear!

Ever had an itch in your throat that you just couldn't scratch? There's actually a little trick that will get rid of that annoying scratch! If you pull on your earlobe and massage it between your thumb and index finger the itch will go away. As crazy as it sounds, it actually works.
Why does touching your ear impact your throat? Massaging the earlobe will stimulate the nerves in the ear, which will trigger a reflex in the throat. As this reflex occurs, it causes a tiny muscle to spasm in your throat, removing that annoying itch!

Factoid:
Michael J Fox's middle name is actually Andrew.

Michael’s first American role came in the 1979 made-for-TV movie Letters From Frank. For this film, he was credited using his given name: “Michael Fox.” Fox had planned on continuing to use this name until it came time for him to register with the Screen Actors Guild. The Guild does not allow for identical names to be entered more than once (to reduce confusion), and Fox found that a “Michael Fox” had already been registered. For this reason, he had to think of a new name for himself. He briefly considered going by his middle name but did not like the sound of “Andrew Fox” or “Andy Fox.” Therefore, he simply chose a new middle initial - “J” - an homage to actor Michael J. Pollard.

Factoid:
Steve Jobs never used license plates for his cars.

Steve Jobs was always known for his signature image of a black turtleneck, sneakers, and blue denim pants. What fewer people relate with him, though, is the silver Mercedes SL55 AMG he always drove, and the fact that it never had a license plate.
Jobs had driven the same car for years, but never had a license plate on it. He was also never fined by the police for it. So how did he get away with it? It's all because of a loophole in the California vehicle laws.
Anyone in California has a maximum of six months after the issuing of a plate number to put a license plate on a new car. All Jobs did was change cars every six months to an identical, new model, so that he could keep the plates off.
Of course, doing this for most of us would be senseless hassle, as well as potentially very expensive. The gimmick would also probably run its course soon, and in the event the vehicle was stolen, identification would be much more difficult.

Michael Jackson had a meeting in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, but overslept!

Jermaine Jackson recently wrote a book about his brother’s rise to fame and tragic death. In an interview with Billy Bush from Access Hollywood, Jermaine shared an excerpt from his book. He told Bush about September 11, 2001.
Michael was supposed to be in a meeting at the World Trade Center. Michael suffered from sleep deprivation and it afflicted him for a long time. The night before the meetings he was up all night.

His mother was with him helping him. He finally fell asleep around 4 a.m. He slept into the morning and missed his appointments. It ended up saving his life, because that morning the Twin Towers fell. Jermaine also took time in the interview to explain a couple other things.
He said Michael didn’t use drugs and that he wasn’t a drug addict. In 1984, Michael survived a harrowing accident that occurred while filming a Pepsi commercial. He suffered second degree burns and chronic pain. The chronic pain is what caused him to search for and use pain medication.
