I don't understand why the WCIU games aren't shown outside of the Chicago area. There are Cub fans South of Chicago Heights.

Thanks once again for the programing updates. Have you watched the HBO special about the Cubs? I think I would have a difficult time watching all the years of frustration wrapped up in a hour or however long it is. Personally, I am still bitter about 2003. :) Looks like the 100 loss season is not going to happen, yay! I agree with you about WCIU games, I wonder what the incentive was that made the the team sign that agreement?

I've been reading a couple books regarding the Cubs of the past.

(Tuesday night's Cubs game didn't air here, so my tv has been highjacked by males who want to watch Stargate Atlantis. I'm looking forward to Doctor Who returning...)

I haven't seen the HBO special yet. My cable company (in the past anyway) would let you subscribe and unsub from movie channels and just pro-rate your bill for the number of days you had the premium service. So I might order HBO for a couple days...We'll see.

Thanks for the program updates. I think I have seen the UFO over Illinois before. It was a strange thing. Very credible witnesses, 1 police officer. (if it's the same program) I will probably watch it again. It was a good show. If you like that type thing, the History Channel has UFO files on every Monday at 8:00pm eastern. Everyone can breathe a little easier, the 100 loss season has been averted. Yay! In all seriousness, thank you very much for providing the TIVO updates. I hope for a better next season for our beloved Cubs.

That UFO over Illinois show has a really funny moment where the police officer asks the dispatcher what he's supposed to do if he finds the UFO. That line (you have to hear it to appreciate it) just made everyone in the room laugh.
