The Oriole starting pitching staff, has been solid lately. It's good to see the bats look like there starting to get hot. 5 in a row, go Baldamore Ouu's!

At least Guthrie won't have to pitch at Coors Field anymore. He pitched 41 2/3 innings there and gave up 67 hits (14 of them homers). His Coors ERA was 9.50 and his WHIP there was 1.896.

He wasn't much worse than the other Rockies pitchers though. In 58 home games they've pitched 529 innings and given up 666 hits (92 of them home runs). At home Colorado's team ERA is 6.14 and their team WHIP is 1.631.

Baltimore's team pitching stats are moving toward the middle of the AL pack.

The Orioles' team ERA is now 4.06. That's 9th in the League, but the White Sox' 3.95 ERA is #5.

Their team WHIP is 1.33 (10th in the A. L.), but the Rangers' team WHIP (1.27) is #5.
