i'm surprised to see that no one posted on here about the game.

i was worried about a letdown after the GB win, but i was thrilled with how they came out strong and were in total control of things the entire game.

the offense was solid. they had some stalled possessions, but they dictated the game for the most part. i'm a bit concerned with AP's recent performances. i know he scored twice, but he hasn't been over 100 yards since week 1. i don't think he's even been over 90. having favre is certainly a cause of that and he did run better today than in recent weeks, but he's going to face 2 very difficult teams coming up. the rushing title may be hard to get this season. favre looked great, only 1 mistake pass. the receivers are making some great catches, especially on 3rd down.

the defense (mostly the secondary) continues to worry me. a weak rams offense (24 points all year coming in) led by kyle boller moved up and down the field with relative ease in the first half and some of the second. we caught some huge breaks with their own ineptitude. 3 turnovers in our red zone killed them. maybe the secondary plays down to competition or something. the defense is our weakest spot and they're going to be tested these next 3 games BIG TIME. flacco and roethlisberger are studs. our undefeated record is probably going to take a hit. we have to have next week's game. there won't be much complaining with a loss in pittsburgh. definitely need improvement.

we only had 5 penalties today. i think that area has improved a lot, even though we're the 7th most penalized team in the league. chilly's teams have always committed lots of penalties.

overall, a good game. the rams are terrible, but look to be improving. they did what they had to do. now the big game is coming next week!

Not too worried about AP's yards, what I'm concerned about is the carries--15 today? How many against GB last week? Where's the 20-25? And it isn't like Favre is passing 35 times a game either. It's weird. I mean, 15 for 69 is a nice ypc average--over 4, so it isn't a worry. They just got out ahead so quickly they probably didn't want to risk his health. But 19 carries, 15 carries, another 15 tonight...last week he had 25, so that was good to see, that the Vikes aren't protecting him. Still a bit of a concern to me.

Great game, though. Nice varied offense for the most part, with the obligatory Childress head-scratchers here and there. Tough game next week.

5-0. I'm really getting excited about the possibilities for this team this year.

i think they may just be trying to prevent him from wearing down. he didn't even really need to play today. we need him for the ravens, steelers, packers, etc. i'm far more worried about the secondary. when we don't get to the QB, it's a completion almost every time. flacco, roethlisberger and rodgers are tough, tough matchups the next 3 weeks. we do hold a 1 1/2 game lead in the division though

We are winning with AP running less. I would gladly give up AD's rushing title to get us a super bowl. Let Brett throw the ball while he has gas in his arm and then have AD on the ready when age starts to take its toll in week 8. Trust me, in the second half of this season AD will have all the carries he can handle. As long as AD keeps punching it into the endzone, I'm a happy camper.

Very big upcoming 3 games people, I think we have a good team but there are people out there saying we havn't played anybody still, lets show them who we are. God it would be nice to be 7-1 heading into that bye but I think I could live with 6-2, we need at least 1 of these next 3 brutal games, we never win in GB so im crossing that game out, its either Bal or Pitt. Pitt on the road is gunna be nasty and with Polamalu back, I think our best shot as at home vs Bal.

Secondary worrys me the most on this team but everyone needs to know we would be 3-2 with TJoke at the helm, the Favre signing was well worth it so far.

The Vikings and Peterson need to get their running game going...pretty sad over the last three weeks.

Defense needs to settle down a bit but so far good job. kept them to a fg. We haven't established the running consistently yet but hope fully AP will get it going in the 2nd half as usual.

Good job early by #4 to get us the lead but as the running game slowed down so did our pass protection.
