I believe that's why they had to throw out the sample. Frankly, the way this was handled to start with leads me to believe that leaving it out of a refrigerator is the truth. For example, why wasn't he retested instead of just saying that he was guilty when it was discovered. They had to know that the lack of proper protocol would be challenged.

You can also look the other way. It was proven that proper protocol wasn't observed and the company tried to cover it up so they don't look bad and lose their contract.

Anytime I have an unusual lab result, I have it retested for confirmation. I can't believe that baseball doesn't have that protocol as well.
