Saunders is doing OK for a CF. He leads all their position players both with a .271 AVG and a .796 OPS. As a comparision, the Cardinals have 9 players with a higher OPS than that. Unfortunately, 4 of them are on the DL. Yes, Schumaker would lead the Mariners in OPS. The Cardinals need him or Jay back in CF (preferably Jay).

Seager's not bad as a 24-year-old sophomore at 3B with a .260 AVG and .780 OPS.

Ichiro is about washed up batting .259 at 38 years old.

Montero and Ackley are still really young and are having sophomore slumps.

The Ryan lovers will crow about his three run homer that he hit tonight. Good for him. Someone give him a cookie.

But they will fail to point out what he did with the glove today. He had an error in the third and the runner later scored that inning.

In addition to that, he failed to turn a double play the half inning after he hit the homer. Instead of the inning being over, the D-Backs scored two more runs to tie the game.
