"no one ever called it Dodger Stadium."

I don't know about that.

'Dodger Stadium was also the home of the Los Angeles Angels (now Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) from 1962 through 1965. To avoid constantly referring to their landlords, the Angels called the park Chavez Ravine Stadium (or just "Chavez Ravine"), after the former geographic feature in which the stadium had been constructed.'

It's funny how much of their history is tied to us and they know it, it's totally a napolean complex thing with them. I guess I can't blame them for being so scornful.

Uppity, yes. Scornful, no.

And by the by, they didn't win a WS until a Dodger was running things. Just sayin'.

The whole coaching staff. Alfredo Griffin, Mickey Hatcher, & Mike Scioscia. They were playing Dodger ball down the 405.

Mickey strikes me as kind of goofy. An ideal Pancho to Scioscia's Cisco.

But if the angels are from Los Angeles why are they valued at less than half of what the Dodgers are valued?

I'm scratching my head on this one...

On my way to Long Beach last Saturday, I saw a couple of Pujols billboards to the side of the freeway. All they were was an action shot of him and the caption, "OMG". That's probably what the Angels are going to be saying when he's 41 years old and they have to pay him $30 million.

yeah, like the Yankees now with Arod and Jeter. These teams never learn, bonds did it but we know why.
