I hope he can hit at this level too....it's a definite worry. They can live with him hitting at least .220/.300 or so ......but lower than that and it's becomes a liability.

Simmons instantly makes the team stronger just by the fact that he can help save some pitchers from extra hits up the middle.

Yeah, never any question about him being able to play the position...very smooth, great arm, plays with confidence.

It's been 2 games and I already trust him like he's Alex Gonzalez out there. Breath of fresh air for the club and I have a feeling the pitchers will start to love him.

Andrelton has great instincts...he'll probably boot one eventually, but I think his biggest asset is knowing WHAT to do.
