Calipari has had a history of getting seasons vacated both at UMASS and at Memphis

Oh. So there's nothing definite, it's that he has a history of cheating?

Is winning a championship, albeit underhandedly, that important to universities that they'll hire a guy like him, only to then have to deal with the wreckage that follows? When are we going to have standards?

No, but
-----------

But nothing.

Let me ask a question: Which men's collegiate basketball coach guided his team to the NCAA championship this past season?

Until anyone has anything on him, they have nothing left to say.

"Let me ask a question: Which men's collegiate basketball team guided his team to the NCAA championship this past season?"

Who cares. Anyone one could win with that roster.

"Until anyone has anything on him, they have nothing left to say."

Well he does have a history of cheating. Both at UMASS and Memphis. I wouldnt hire him under any circumstances the last thing a university needs is to be involved with a known cheater. I would rather have PSU basketballs program that hire Calipari.

Sure, anyone could win with that roster.

But no one else HAD that roster.

Especially our "great" coach.

Why is that?

"Why is that?"

Because he doesnt pay the players to come there?

I haven't read where Calipari paid any of his players. I'll assume that neither has Dixon.

Yeah it just so happens where ever he goes the school just somehow get a year vacated right after he bolts. He must be the unluckest guy ever.

No. Jamie Dixon is. His teams don't make the tournament or get bounced early because he's unlucky.

I really couldnt care less about Jamie Dixon. Im not a Pitt fan. But if you want to argue against Dixon and his tournament shortcomings go right ahead. It has absolutely nothing to do with John "the cheater" Calipari.

Haven't had to worry about that yet, have we? His shortcomings in March mean that there's some shortcomings during the other 11 months, too.

Not really. He has gotten multiple McDonalds all americans, hes been good enough to make the tourney all but once, including being a number 1 seed twice and has some Big East titles to go along with it. Its obvious he does well in the regular season and obviously does good enough recruiting but just falls short in the tourney.

The is only a handful of coaches out there who wouldnt switch resumes with Dixon in a heartbeat.
