I see that he dorked up a throw that really cost the Mariners against the Rangers.

But Wedge said he wasn't overly concerned with his hitters being aggressive in that situation. He was far more upset with Ryan not completing the double play and getting Noesi out of the first.

Ryan is as Fragile as Colby Rasmus.

In fact, on a basis of talent level vs realized potential: Brendan Ryan = Colby Rasmus with hyperactivity disorder.

Good thing for Ryan is the backup is just as bad.

I'd have to agree with you, but some others here seem to think he does.

I'll never forget his complete inability to lay off of 3 straight sliders 4 feet off the plate with a runner on 3rd and 1 out in a 1 run game. I could see those sliders coming before the windup began, but Brendan had no clue.
