    • what to do with Wells?

Trumbo has been on fire since he plays RF everyday. I hate to see that change.

Put him in LF everyday if Hunter is going to play RF daily.

Wells has been displaced on this team and should be the 4th outfielder or move him of release him.
I think we are a better team with Bourjos/Calhoun on the roster. If Wells stays those two my be gone.

No way does Wells start now. Trout and Trumbo have to be in there everyday from now on. IMO Trumbo is best on the right side of the field defensively. I like him at 1B and in RF with some DH AB's.

Wells can hit LH pitchers. He's has value.

Wells has value as a platoon outfielder boy he's the most expensive 22 million dollar a year part time player in baseball but that is what he should be when he comes back.

He has value but its nothing close to what his contract is. But yeah they are not just going to release the guy for nothing as some people want the angels to do its better to get something out of him as a platoon outfielder than nothing.

Right now Bouros is getting the starts against leftys do you want Wells to replace that time he is getting if so what is Bourjos role with this team going forward?

What is it about small sample sizes you don't understand?

Even if you only take the numbers from the horrible year last year.
284/320/531.

If you want to go lifetime
293/353/485.

Why would anyone use 38 ABs to make any kind of judgement? It just blows my mind.

< Why would anyone use 38 ABs to make any kind of judgement? >

Because it makes their point when a larger sample doesn't, I see it all the time. The Angels (and other) announcers do it all the time, so and so is 8 for his last 17 ABs. Going with 20, or 10, or 100 doesn't "paint the picture" the way they want it to.

How do you feel about having him come off the bench to hit against Lefties?

I don't have a problem with that. I just don't want him starting ahead of Trout, Trumbo ever or even Bourjos. Wells had his opportunities, his best days are behind him, and these young guys are really fun to watch and their good too and the team is winning.

Way too much dinero to eat...Wells plays; no $22 million per player rides the bench.

Wells is a legacy left for us by Reagins and Scioscia.

We all know this by Scioscia's Modus Operandi (MO). This is Scioscia's mindset. Wells will be here for two more years (2014) and his being here brings big roster problems.

Bourjos will probably be tradebait because of Wells.

I think Trumbo has removed all doubt that he's light years better than Wells.

If you use Wells right he has value. If we release him, he plays in Texas. I do not want him in that park.

We do, how do "we" know what will happen nostradumass?>>>

Because some of us have watched Mike manage.
You seem to be his biggest supporter/apologist/excuse maker.
He does what he does, and he has been the same through 3 GM regimes.

I predict that Dipo will dispose of Wells, because he knows what most of us know.
MS will be playing him if he can.

That would be best for the team. Very clear he's lost his starting job in LF.

I have no idea if he could adjust to being a pinch hitter. That's the only role left for him on this team.

The ball is in Moreno's court. Pay him as a starter and lose, or pay him to play elsewhere and win.

I don't see how Wells plays ahead of Trout, Trumbo or Hunter when he comes back to form.
I can see him playing ahead of PB even though I don't think that makes us better.

Man if Reagins and Scioscia didn't pull that move things would be sweet in the outfield but nooooo.

I don't see it that way, I just don't buy into the "Scioscia decides everything" garbage that a lot of people throw around here without an iota of proof.
