He forgot there was two outs, so on a ground ball he ran to touch second then throw to first and got taken out. He should have just thrown to first.

I heard Boch interviewed and he was saying he had to talk to Sabean about being down a player with Huff out for personal reasons.

If you think about it, we don't need to bring up a 1B player if Huff goes on some sort of leave, but given what we saw in NY when Crawford was taken out, and then again tonight when Crawford looked shaken up, it might not be a bad idea to have an extra infielder.

Looks like Huff on the Bereavement list? 4 to 7 days I think. It's not official, just something someone tweeted.

That's what Boch was hinting at in the interview I heard, but he wouldn't say it outright.

Schulman confirms....Arias contract was purchased. He will be in uniform tonight. Not sure the corresponding move. Either Wilson to the 60 day DL or Otero sent down I assume.

Aris was pulled in 6th inning last night after Sabean and Bochy talked,, speculation is Huff will be off extended period of time thus rules say you can call up someone to replace the person gone. Teriot lost 15 lbs with sickness may not be ready to go full game yet.. Arias is good choice as Panda and Craw may need a day off or Burris ,, Craw said today hes good to go no problems..

May not be Bereavement under the current rule,, It may be excused absence family problems,, Bereavement is very specific rules thus if he is allowed an extened time that goes beyond the bereavement period then it becomes personal family problems and can be off extended period I think,, purchase of Arias contract tells me it may be a lengthy time for Huff to be gone.. and there is room once they put Huff on the excused absense list.. just have to see how it goes,, Bochy said there is no problem with Huff gone they can cover well enough..

Arias as only 21 when he was first called up a few years ago and still is only 27. The last 10 games at Fresno .447 avg. His .276 avg. in the Majors is better than I realized.

Looked up Arias he has some real legit numbers..

Arias had two doubles among his three hits in the Grizzlies' 11-5 win over the Rainiers. In 18 games for the Grizzlies he was hitting .400 with two homers and 17 RBIs.

And remember no book on him so if all goes correctly he should get some hits before anyone figures him out,, and nice glove work also.. I think when they put Wilson on done for the year they will bring up a pitcher sooner than later.. Huff may be off a long time his problem does not go away over night,, ask Joey Votto he is still trying to deal with same problem..
