Pujols will get nothing to hit if Wells is hitting behind him .

The way things are right now, Wells would get nothing to hit if Pujols was behind him.

The way Pujols is hitting, Wells will get nothing good to hit either.

Wells at the 4 spot???? his AVG and OBP is too low....need to move him down to #6 spot or below

we could do

1-Izturis[3B]/Aybar[SS]
2-Kendrick [2B]
3-Hunter [CF]
4-Pujols [1B]
5-Trumbo [RF]
6-Morales [DH]
7-Wells [LF]
8-Ianetta [C]
9-Aybar[SS]/Callaspo[3B]

I actually agree with you. That's a better lineup than any Scioscia has thrown out there so far. I've wanted Pujols in the cleanup spot.

I like Trumbo in RF over LF too. He has a strong arm and less balls are hit to RF.

I would swap Iannetta and Wells though, and Morales with Trumbo when a righty is pitching.

I don't mind too much about Morales or Trumbo order....we don't know what we're going to get out of Morales so I just put Trumbo ahead of him for the meanwhile.

I think(not sure) I've only seen Pujols hit once in the #4 spot this year thus far.

Scoscia seems to have a creative talent for finding every which way to put up a worse and worse line-up.

Wrong, Pujols has only hit 3rd this season. That has been the only spot in the batting order that hasn't changed.

Haven't you noticed, Tumbo can't pay 3rd base. While playing third, he's blown more plays at third then he has hits.

More fly balls are hit to right field. You also have to get on a ball quicker because there are plays at third.

It's significantly more difficult to play.

I wish he didn't have Boras as his agent, but we didn't get that wish either.

Do you know away from the wind-tunnel on neutral ground Callaspo out hit Beltre.

I'm not a big fan of Beltre. I'm really glad he's not on our team.

Just curious, why me enough?

Why not enough about the clueless people who think Trumbo can play 3rd? Trumbo could fart while playing 3rd and fans would call it a symphony.

He's the most over valued player I've ever seen on this board. People are completely clueless as to how mediocre he was last year and how badly he's has played third this year.

It's amazing.

I don't think you get my point, AG. We KNOW how badly he plays 3rd base, even though we might not think it's as horrible as you feel it is, and we KNOW how you feel about it. You really did make your point long ago.

People always went at me, well some people did, for putting down both Mathis and Wood so often. But even I didn't repeat the same mantra over and over and over and over a thousand times (or whatever figure is accurate), nowhere near the number of posts you've made saying Trumbo can't play 3rd base.

In other words, okay, we know how you feel about it already. Repeating it endlessly isn't likely to make others totally agree with you IF THEY DON'T ALREADY. I know you want us all to agree with you and many of us do.

I'm just saying the constant repetitions of the same comment won't change anything.

And that, dear sir, is enough of me on my soapbox and I will step down from it now. :)

No, he'll just say CJ Wilson stunk in the post season and he's glad CJ is gone.

Meanwhile the rest of us, here in Angels land, can be glad we signed him.
