I don't really know what to say. I knew the offense wasn't going to be good. I knew the defense would be suspect at times.

But I didn't expect our pitching staff to be getting lit up left and right. We've had one good start this year, from Matt Cain. (Well, I expected Zito to get lit up, but that's different.) I am starting to get really pessimistic about the season. Our rotation was supposed to carry the weak offense to a record around .500. It doesn't look as if they are up to it.
