I was hoping Vick got attacked by a pitbull, but I hear they don't allow dogs at the stadium.

Good question. I don't want see him ride the bench. Do you ? He's got to get rep's, ab's. Let's see what he does in ST. Hope he plays a lot and does well.

"but I hear they don't allow dogs at the stadium."

Then how do we explain Ben Roethlisberger?

Loney has "gap power", too. Is that good enough for our team?

I like Sands in the lineup if we have a masher at first and third and one more OF spot.

I heard that there's a painting of Michael Vick playing poker with pitbulls. LOL

"Loney has "gap power", too"

No he doesn't. He inside-outs the ball.

I'm not a fan of platooning young developed players either, your point a good one.

He caresses the thing and asks it to dinner.

Then, when it rejects him, which according to his batting average is approximately 72% of the time, he says, "Aww man...I'll just have to be more gentle next time", as he walks back to the dugout.

Hence his decrease in power over the last 4 years.

Definitely, performance speaks louder than expectations. Hopefully the Dodgers will let Sands gain his MLB experience the old fashion way......earn it.

If Sands doesn't cut it Van Slyke may just pass him up if he hasn't already.
