Time for the late night thread for a little. I don't know what to say. Normally I am pretty optimistic and things never seem to worry me as much as others, but this is not a good situation.

1. Is Pedro seriously starting?

2. I find it hard to believe that Blanton and Happ put as much effort into this game as they would a typical bullpen session.

3. Who knows how bad Happ is hurt? He is probably the second best starter on the team right now.

4. Charlie Manuel has no confidence in anybody in the bullpen but Madson and maybe Eyre.

5. Why is Tyler Walker not on the roster? Today was a day to use Kendrick (if ever)in the 6th when they were down by 4 or 5.

Also. How in the heck do you give up a HR to Torrealba? First since May I think I heard? The only people in the this lineup who should be hurting anybody are Tulowitzki, Helton, and Gonzalez.

I also think that against Righties, with Stewart in the lineup makes them significantly better. Hawpe also.
