I have no dream of being a major league baseball player. I played enough years of little league to know I would never be a good baseball player. But either will Mark Reynolds. I could have stood up there like him and not hit a single pitch all night. It is not like he fouled off 10 pitches and then got a walk. Pitchers don't throw strikes to mark reynolds because they don't have to. Most likely he will swing at the pitch in the dirt.

to be fair - Reynolds has been holding his own at 1B and raking vs lefty pitching. The past 2 games his being on base with a walk and a double, before getting knocked in by Teagarden and Markakis respectively, proved to be the winning runs of both games. Way to go Mark - and thx for helping the team win. I even get the feeling his bat is warming up a bit.

There, i said positive true things about Mr. Reynolds and no longer wish to jetpuke on his cleats from afar. I bet he re-signs here in the winter for much less than he currently makes and stays at 1B.
