Yeah, the thing is the word was out that Bradley was trouble. Beane knew he had talent and thought he could steal him by giving the Dodgers just an unproven AA player in Ethier. It turned out that the Dodgers were ripping the A's off, but no one saw it that way at the time.

Dre is not a scrub. He's not as good as Kemp, but so what? I don't understand why that makes a difference. We have a great player and a good player. What's the problem?

No problem as far as I'm concerned. Not everyone can be a superstar. I just think some people have become so emotionally invested in downplaying Andre's achievements to the point where they're actually hoping he fails.

.....but I don't ever see Andre as a superstar, thats a major reach in my opinion.

I don't know, I'm don't have an opinion on the Ethier thing regarding complementary really. I would say however Ethier couldn't come close to Kemps talent and I doubt anyone in baseball ever thought so.

Once could say that Kemp could have been Bradley, had he not off-loaded Rhianna. That nonsense ending has done more for Kemp, and the the Dodgers than anything! He had the talent all along; when he first came up he hit about 7 or 8 home runs in short order, but was back in AAA in a month......KO king!

Rhianna should get a thank you from Magic!
