When I think of the great posters on this board I will always remember Homan fondly.

In slang, what is a 'ho?' I think we're being put on by a prankster. Pretty funny actually.

Any dude who goes from a "Dodgers" fan to an Angels fan is clearly a bandwagon "h0'".

I was on FOXSPORTS.com and they Rosenthal reported that O'Malley is very serious about buying the Dodgers and that they would like a deal closed before the All Star break.

Man o man. I would have a lot of trouble seeing an O'malley ran ball club playing against the Dodgers. It would almost be a little sad.

They retired Garvey's number (and Robinson's number), so why not have an ex-Dodgers owner as well.

I caught a bit of SD talk guy last night on 1090 covering padre postgame. He brought up the Rosenthal report and sounds as though this deal may be done by the allstar break. The money issues are close. We add another bit rivalry of sorts with the O'Malleys now in SD. How many of us old Dodger Fans would ever have thought the things in ownerships we're seeing in the last few years? I guess all I can say is it seems "weird"!

The good thing about O'Malley buying the Padres is they're already used to a low payroll.

Petco is anything but state of the art. It is new, that's it. There are literally thousands of seats in that park when you completely lose sight of a fly ball due to the drastic overhang of the deck above. The design is horrible. Dodger Stadium is old and in need of repairs, but it's still a much better place to watch a game. Not a fan of the idea of the O'Malleys buying the Padres. That family is too good for them.

Either way it is a great selling point for a potential owner. He already knows he doesn't have to pay for stadium upkeep or pay for new luxury boxes on a brand new city owned stadium.

However there is still a down side , he will still own the Padres. They had a billionaire owner back in their early years and it didn't make a difference.
