The weather is brutal here as well. I am hoping that this isn't what we will be facing for the rest of the summer, stengelese. The temperatures here will also be moderating next week into the mid to high 80s. That will be a 10-15 degree difference. It will feel like a breath of fresh air lol

The only thing I can be thankful for so far is that the humidity isn't very high! It must be like living in Arizona :)

I am sorry to hear about the deluges, John. I hope they aren't affecting your area. And you are right...this weather won't last forever. I guess it is the price we pay for having such a mild winter in the mid-Atlantic states lol

I am hoping our Andy will heal quickly John. I am surprised in a good way that Joba seems to be recovering faster than expected.

Booda and Dharma are doing well. Booda is still a goof ball and Dharma is one smart cookie :)

We are lucky here in the South side of the City of Birmingham,as the area we live in is higher than other areas,and so we do not suffer the fate other parts go through.I saw Andy in the Yankees dugout in the series in Tampa,and I bet he lifts the spirits of the other players whilst he is there.I hope he heals, and that he comes back as good as he was before.That would be awesome Maria.Hugs to you.And of course to Dharma and Booda.L.John.xxxx

A split of the DH is not a bad thing,obviously I would have liked to win both,but with all the teams except Boston losing their Saturday games and Boston did lose the first game of the DH and Baltimore losing to Weaver and the Angels it meant we gained a half game on all the teams and in Boston's case we stayed even(At least I think so...LOL)We now have a six game lead on Baltimore and hopefully we may gain another game today.I felt sorry for Phil as who could expect FIVE errors from our boys,but it happens evry now and then Maria.I hope Ivan is on his game tonight and the hitters get to Lester often.Have a lovely Sunday Maria.L.John.xxxx
