I agree with you finally envirodudly. Getting rid of Lima was the purpose of that trade and it worked. The alternative was simply releasing him. At least we got something in return and if Mliki can't pull his load in the bullpen, then we can release him and we're no worse off. I think the fan fallout would have been worse if Lima had been released outright anyway.

We DID get nothing in return. And we had to pay cash on top of it.

I agree the Lima trade was not all that good.. Why are we going to pay cash when everybody and their mama's know Lima will pitch better in a pitchers park... The Astros should have got somebody that still had hope for improving not get someone that is a complete bum... Their was hope for Lima, but no hope for Mlicki...
