My fellow Cardinal fans, what happened? We made a sacred oath to not let this thread slip to page 2, but negligence and apathy have placed it on our second page.
Losing two out of three to the Padres was not the most desireable result, but we must never falter. Let your voices be heard, my fellow brothers, for our greatest of foe is on the horizon! Let no quarter be given!
ANNIHILATE! OBLITERATE! EVICERATE! DESTROY THE CUBS!
DESTROY! I'm getting pumped for this game.
Carpenter had better pitch well.
Get a "DESTROY!" in before the game starts! It's good luck!
DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY THE CHI-TOWN CHUBBIES!
For first place!
DESTROY THE REDS! DESTROY!!!!!
We will have first place at the end of this series against the Reds.
Hey hope you enjoyed the game yesterday, understand you wil be there tonight also.
The jerky is done and I have a sample for you. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org, you can send me your address if you like and I will send it to you.
Or, I can have it at the game as I am also going tonight. We could meet up somewhere between innings if you want. Either way, just let me know.
I bet that they make more money on the days that the Cardinals score 6 runs. It's not like the promotional deal that Krispy Kreme did with the Kansas City Royals a few years ago. Each time the Royals got 12 hits, everybody with a ticket to the game could go there and pick up a free dozen donuts. The deal started in 2003, when the Royals had their "surprise" season, and I can remember driving by Krispy Kreme and seeing hundreds of cars in a line waiting for some donuts.
There was one stretch where the Royals had 12 hits in five straight games, but also managed to lose all five. As a Cardinals fan, I thought it was pretty funny!
