Niner fan here. Should be a REALLY good game this Sunday by the bay. Falcons and their weapons vs. one of the best defenses in the league. Even without Frank Gore, I think my guys can get it done. Coffee won't o anything special, but I think he'll get about 75-80 yards to at least keep the Falcons defense honest. Shaun Hill will find a way to guide the Niners to victory. Predicted score: 20-17 SF.

Wouldn't be surpirised if your guys pull it out though, Matt Ryan is fastly becoming one of the best QBs in the NFL. He took the league by storm from day one.

Argument over Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings game escalates to violence
The Associated Press • October 9, 2009

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings-Green Bay Packers matchup is history. But, we’re learning now about two football fans whose argument over the game turned violent.

A 30-year-old Minneapolis man has been arrested for stabbing another man after they quarreled about the game at the Leaning Tower of Pizza restaurant in Minneapolis Monday night.

Forty-one-year-old Leif Heide of Minneapolis was stabbed in the abdomen after the suspect followed him outside the restaurant and confronted him. Heide was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he had surgery.

The suspect later called 911 and told dispatchers he had stabbed a man. Officers arrested him and recovered a knife from his pocket.

The only real interesting matchup is New England and Denver. Are the Broncos for real or have they just been lucky?

The Panthers need to establish a running game and keep the ball out of Del-homey's hands as much as possible. I have zero confidence in him as the starting Panther QB. I hope Bill Cowher is the next coach because Fox has stuck with JD and allowed Peppers to be franchised for almost $19M. Here's a clip from an article I read at FoxSports.com...

"Carolina Coach John Fox has told friends and some associates he expects to be fired once the season ends. It's not that Foxy is doing a bad coaching job; it's just that the Panthers are 0-3, and they don't appear capable of catching New Orleans and Atlanta in the South. But he's being blamed for sticking with Jake Delhomme and Julius Peppers, two high-priced stars, who aren't producing right now. If Bill Cowher is going to leave CBS, it would make sense that his former Pittsburgh boss, Dan Rooney, would try to persuade him to go to Carolina. Rooney and Panthers owner Jerry Richardson are the best of friends. Remember, Rooney accepted a draft-choice penalty (tampering charge) for allowing his then-assistant coach Dom Capers to become Carolina's first head coach."

Kudos to any Falcons fans on here. WOW. You guys stuck it to us in every facet of the game, you capitalized on turnovers, Matt Ryan and Roddy White were great and Turner had his best game of the year.

You guys showed why you're a playoff team.

How about them Jaguars?

We're at home next week against the Rams with our #1 WR and LB back, so this 41-0 loss should be at worst a 2-0 loss next week, although I expect a 3-2 win.

Denver Broncos win over the New England Patriots on a overtime winning field goal, 20-17. Play on 30 degree cold October Sunday (Phillies 5 @Colorado Rockies 4).

On the day that the Boston Red Sox lost to the LA Angels, its a sad sad, empty mood Boston day.
(LAA 7 Boston 6)

Yeah, the Red Sox really choked away that game and the whole series. I hope the Angels take it to the Yank$ the same way.

Henne passes to Ginn. That must feel weird considering they were bitter rivals in college. Henne played for Michigan and Ginn played for Ohio State.
