If and when I have kids, and I catch them smoking, I'll be way more p*ssed if it's a tobacco cigarette than if it's a joint. May those 3 weeks turn into 3 decades, friend.

<NBC news reported the father encouraged the toddler to run on the field. What a jackass.

If true, then I hope security kicked them out. You can't penalize the kid for his actions.

you can punish both of them by tazing the father in front of the kid.

i love stubhub..even with the fees yiu still save about 50% on most sox games

the best time to use it is right before any event..i got blackhawks tickets ,6 hours before the game , they were in the 300 section about 6 rows up for 20 bucks a piece , plus fees..that was against nashville..

it's great for northwestern football and basketball too..

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox registered their lowest paid attendance for a series since 2004, after averaging 12,663 fans over their four-game set with the Baltimore Orioles at U.S. Cellular Field.

The last time the White Sox drew less in average paid attendance for a series was when they averaged 12,657 fans against the Cleveland Indians from April 27-29 in 2004.

Against the Orioles this week, the White Sox had a paid attendance of 13,732 fans on Monday, 11,267 on Tuesday, 13,818 on Wednesday and 11,836 on Thursday. Tuesday’s single-game paid attendance was the smallest since having a paid attendance of 10,800 against the Indians on April 7, 2005.

The Sox have a fundamental problem but nothing a new GM couldn't begin to fix.

So many of our fan base consider themselves purists, "smarter than the average fan", and think staying away from the park is a way of demanding a better product on the field.

I'm with that to a point, but this past series' dismal attendance was an embarrassment, especially after a decent start. People can proffer all the excuses they want, but to me they're just BS.

We're in for a long season and more PR black eyes if our press highlights are going to be about d-bag parents sending junior on the field and spring training sized crowds.

Chamber of commerce didn't help as most weather forecasts had rain with some calling for up to 2 inches. Rain and upper 40's with a stiff northerly makes for low attendance.

I just get tired of the excuses. By way of explanation I think we are in the after-burn of the Kenny-Ozzie blowout, re-building and many fans who got fed up or looked elsewhere. When I looked in the paper and saw we were the low draw of the night, I thought how is that possible in this market??

well it was the Thursday day game, I was in attendance and actually there seemed to be as many fans as the Cub game last night, which according to the box score showed over 37,000.
Go figure

Illinois is still sort of in a recessionary mode and without a doubt there are many fans watching their entertainment dollar. I'm glad that Kenny- Ozzie thing is out of the way and the players probably are too. Lets play baseball !
