    • EJax and Teahen to Toronto for Frasor and minor leaguer

I thought Frasor was a lefty too but he is a righty, so not sure it involves him at all. Maybe they just don't want to pitch Crain 115 times this year.

That's the only way it makes sense... if Toronto is planning on flipping Jackson again before the deadline.

I knew Frasor was a righty. They got Sale and Ohman to do the lefty stuff for this year so they are not to fixated on having a third guy. If this is true and de Aza is coming up, there is a poster on this board who is going to be very excited. Dreams do come true.

Apparently the Jays are going hard after Ubaldo. So possibly getting EJax while not giving up much and trading him for a prospect that Colorado would want in addition to whatever their package is.

Do you think this is a precursor to other moves by the Sox?

I looked. I don't know. On the surface, does not look overly creditable to me.

I'm guessing his team option kicks in for 2012 even though he gets traded.

At least the bullpen is shored up for the future

"Do you think this is a precursor to other moves by the Sox?"

Rod. You are scaring me. I want to ask a question. "O mighty kOna. Will they come to an agreement to lift the debt ceiling."

Dude is usually way ahead of other sources; it'll at least be interesting to see what he says.

I can see picking up Jackson. He could either net Toronto some prospects at the deadline or net them some comp picks that their GM springs ragers over.

Don't get why they'd want Teahen...

Also, the Sox are dealing a valuable trade chip for a reliever? Ugh, don't like it (reserve the right to change mind if the prospect turns out to be of high quality...doubt it seeing KW managed to pawn off Teahen).

Looks like mostly a salary dump to me. I cant imagine Toronto giving up a top prospect when they have no chance of contending this year. Shame we had to go this route, because I think Jackson could have landed you something a lot better then Jason Frasor.
