Okay, Mike. This year Machado, Schoop, et al will be in Freder!ck and then in Bowie. Let's actually catch a game together when the dust settles about summer schedules for the players and for ourselves.

Woodbridge and Freder!ck are within range for me and my wife. So is Lynchburg... though not for you. Bowie is the closest Eastern League team to us. I have no foggiest idea what the summer holds for us after school's out. I don't think watching Italian League baseball games is likely though. :)

Yes, definitely! We've been putting it off for about 3 seasons now...

What does your Spring schedule look like? I work Saturdays but only until 2. Saturday nights are okay. Sunday afternoons are probably better because of my advanced age. My wife, Jill, is a better driver than I am if I have a couple of beers at a ballgame... or at least, that's what she tells me. :)

The Keys are scheduled for Sat/Sun games on April 7-8, April 28-29, May 12-13, May 26-27 and June 16-17. If all goes well, my daughter will graduate from high school the first weekend in June and my wife's summer should start a week later, when her teaching duties end. After June 10th, our plans can become more flexible.

Yep, weekends work best for me too. I plan on being at a fair number of O's games on the weekends that they are at home so almost any weekend that the O's are on the road and the Keys are at home, I'd be up for it.

I am actually already planning to be at Camden Yards on April 7th and 8th, and the 28th. Lets try to shoot for a game in May. Take a look at the schedule, give it some thought and let me know what works for you. Fred-er-ick is just a hop, skip, and a jump for me so pretty much any weekend should be doable.

I still can't make sense of that beautiful city's name being "forbidden"...

Prince Freder!ck was, famously, a dimwit. Discrimination about his name would never be tolerated today, of course. MLB's code of conduct probably dates from the 18th century though.

We could probably work in games at Freder!ck and Baltimore to make the trip worth the gas. I really want to see Machado/Schoop. It would be great to meet you. As far as I know, I've never met anybody who posts here.

Hahaha....

Yes sir, sounds like a pretty good weekend of baseball there. Keys on Saturday and O's on Sunday...or vice-versa.

Like I said, take a look at a schedule and let me know what weekends would work for you. You'll be traveling more than me, so I can work with pretty much whatever. Some weekends may be tougher than others, but I'm sure we can figure something out.
