"That was supposed to be sarcasm (they coughed up another LOSS).
But I should have realized all the low-IQ types out there wouldn't get it. Anyway, I guess for youse, it's an good example of sarCHasm (Mensa dictionary: Sarchasm (noun) - The huge abyss between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who just doesn’t get it)."
First off, I think you meant to say "you" not "youse". If you're going to be as arrogant as to define words from the Mensa Dictionary in your post and call us all "low-IQ types", it better be flawless in regards to the spelling of actual words.
Second off, dude, just give it up. Sarcasm is hard enough to get online without being able to hear a person's intonations, seeing their expression, etc. When you add to it that the alleged sarcasm in your post wasn't really all that sarcastic or funny, you lose. Had you included the phrase "they coughed up another LOSS" then it would've been obvious sarcasm. The way you posted your comment actually looked like an <idiot troll counting the Phillies out before it was over, turning the TV off, and not realizing they won and posting a dumb rant.
If 25 other people don't understand you were being sarcastic, it's probably not because those 25 people are all <idiots and you are a MENSA member operating on a different level of intelligence. It's probably because your attempt at being sarcastic wasn't really funny and wasn't obvious at all.
For someone as intelligent as you claim to be, I'd expect you to know that the entire point of sarcasm is to be bitterly over the top and make it obvious to everyone what you're doing. You failed.
Third (and most importantly), only the most arrogant of the arrogant tools in this world make reference to MENSA and imply that they are members and that this distinction actually means something. If you are in fact an actual MENSA member, congratulations for being born (through no fault of your own) with a high IQ. You scored better than 98% of people on an IQ test. Wow. You're a rare breed. Only 1 out of every 50 persons has as high an IQ as you. You're almost as special as someone that is born an American Indian (less than 1 out of every 100 Americans has that special distinction). Anyway, being part of Mensa, that sure is an accomplishment. I think we should all stand up and applaud you.
I'd wager a large amount of money however that you're largely squandered that high IQ if you're life is so unfullfilling that you feel the need to call people "low IQ types" when they don't understand your poorly phrased sarcasm. And my knowledge of psychology also tells me that it's highly likely that you're insecure, being that you feel the need to mention MENSA to make yourself feel smart.
Anyway, time to grow up there buddy. It's what you do in life that makes you special. Not your IQ, but rather what you do with that special ability.
