Good Monday morning to you Maria, and of course all of your family and Booda and Dharma. Not much to say after yesterday's game Maria. It has all been said on here, and most of it is pure drivel, but posters are able to say these things, even when some other poster points out that their stats are wrong. So what we do is dust ourselves off and pick ourselves up and start all over again.Have a good day Maria.I am off out to do banking in a short while.L.John.xxx

Hi John, it's a rainy day here today. It is disheartening to see our Yankees playing so poorly but as usual, I am ever hopeful that they will turn it around starting tonight :)

I stay away when the negativity gets really bad and just post in a few threads where I can spread my own version of reality lol

Have a good day and hopfully tonight we win!

If Mariano is with the team at the moment I can hear him trying to lift the spirits of his team mates. He is that sort of person Maria.Well after last nights loss all I did was to look on the board and see all the negativity and that was it for me,no point in complaining about this or that. All I say is pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down and start all over again.Well lets face it Maria at .500 it is just like the start of the season where all of the teams start off equally.I and many other Yankee fans have seen this situation before Maria,so it is not like we have not had to dig ourselves out of a crisis,is it?Well the weather is warming up here and it is begining to feel like summer.I shall be watching Phil pitch tonight and hopefully he will continue to show he is improving.Good luck to him,and good luck to ALL our hitters.Lets Go Yankees.....L.John.xxxxx

Hi Zen,
They were not good last night. I think they need a win to bounce back. It looks like something holds their hands so they cant hit.
I'm not reading the board. But this time I partly recognize them...they are angry...too many RISPs....imagine, even if Cano hits a DP, we could score.
I beleive these days will pass, and I'm saying it again, We'll begin to rise while others begin to struggle.
We must keep our positive energy on them.
Best vibes to you and yours, my friend.
GO YANKEES

+++++++++++VIBES++++++++++ TO THE YANKEES OFFENSE!!!

Hi John, yes another tough game to watch last night. I usually stay away from most of the negativity. It's just not me. I always hope for the best ;-)

I think the Mo issue is like a cloud hanging over the Yankees but they need to help lift Mo's spirits and start winning! Let's hope Hughes pitches well tonight. I hope you are having a good day my friend :)

Right now the Mariano injury is not hurting the team. He'd be rusting away in the pen with lack of save opportunties.

Hi uko. I am with you. I stay away from the negative thoughts as much as I can. I am sending them positive vibes. They need to start believing in themselves and stop listening to the talking heads! I know even this will pass but I hope it passes soon :)

I hope all is well with you and yours!

A nice warm day here Maria. We are getting some very warm weather over the next few days(At Least)And about time too..LOL..I was pleased with Phil last night,he is continuing to show improvement on each of his last three starts. He is showing confidence in his pitches for once.I think he will be fine. All round even though it was a low scoring game, our Yankees showed they CAN get runners home from scoring positions, and that is very pleasing.Andy is on the mound tonight, and though he is facing a debutante from the Royals, hopefully he can get some run support. Finally Mariano is off his crutches and that is very good news.It is a long road back for him,but I am sure he will make it.Have a good day Maria.Gardening work for me today,as I might as well get the benefit of this good weather.L.John.xxxxx

It's warming up here as well John. I said to my husband today, "It's starting to feel like summer!" Now I want to go to the beach :)

Yes our Yankees won last night. And Andy will give them every chance to win tonight. So let's do this.

Have fun in the garden and ++++++++++++++++++VIBES+++++++++++++++++ TO YOU, SUE AND THE KITTY CATS :)

Andy was Mr reliable last night Maria.I watched three innings of his before he handed over to David Phelps in the eighth inning.I was so pleased for him as I know you were.I thought Mark showed his restraint at the plate as well, and was rewarded by three BB and also one hit.Derek was excellent going three for five, and Curtis and Alex were also on form.I am a little disappointed in Russell martin's showing though, but maybe he will pick it up soon.I know that you were on a thread about the Rangers in the NHL play-offs,surprising as it maybe I have followed the Devils for about six years now,but keep that information away from Doug and Deb...LOL...Have a good day Maria.L.John and Sue and the three Cats.xxxxx

Yes John, Andy was Mr. Reliable and this is a good thing. Our pitching staff needed this. Hopefully the Yankees will continue winning on the road now and our pitching will stabilize :)

As far as hockey, I'm really not very interested in the sport but my Dad was a Rangers fan and, as you know, Doug and Deb and jint and other friends are as well. So I do hope they win. You a Devil's fan? Now how did that happen? LOL I won't tell them ;-)

It's going to warm up here on the weekend ... going into the 90s. I guess summer in Virginia has arrived, John. Have a wonderful day :)

it is so very hot here Maria(80 )The cats are sitting around trying to keep cool.I make sure they have plenty of water around to help them maintain their fluid levels. As for your Virginia,I bet you will be going to the beach soon.as for me being a Devils fan, well it happened when I found out about their goaltender Martin Brodeur, and how he was at the same club throughout and how good he was,and so I hung my coat on them.I do not enjoy the pointless fights they keep having, but I enjoy the plays that happen, and like you said in one of your posts last night,I have trouble following the little puck as it gets hit around the ice,but I do my best to try and follow it.Well Maria it is a day off for our boys on the west coast trip, let us hope they are in the mood for a few wins on this trip and of course when they go to Detroit, who are having their own problems in winning.Lets Go Yankees.Hugs to you Maria.xxxxxxJohn.

I am trying to get a beach vacation in John, very very soon lol. I wish I could spend the whole summer at the beach and also going to every Yankees game. I'm sure there is some way to work that out lol

90 degrees is too hot! I'm not ready yet!!!

Well we are alike in not being able to follow the hockey puck but I will be rooting for the Rangers so I hope they can follow the puck ;-)

Have a wonderful evening. It's nice to have a night off and not have to worry about our Yankees. I'm engrossed in a good book so I think I'll spend some time reading later this evening.

++++++++++++VIBES++++++++++ TO YOU, SUE AND THE KITTY CATS :)

Good Morning Maria. From a lovely sunny Monday morning here.I hope that your day goes well for you.Hugs to Dharma and Booda and Cat kisses from our cats to yours.xxx.
What a gem by Hiroka yesterday Maria,in fact the rotation is going well, but it is a difficult three game set against the Angels starting late today.I shall not be there for the start, but I shall hopefully get up before the end of the game to see how we are doing.Phil will need to be on his top game to beat Weaver, but we can do it.Vibes to you all,and I hope you get your vacation by the sea soon.Hugs From your friends over here.John.xxxx

Hi John, it's going to be in the 90s today....beach weather lol

I hope our Yankees take this series. Hughes has to be strong today! It's a late start tonight so since I have work tomorrow I'm not sure I will see all of the game but I'll send all the vibes I can. LET'S GO YANKEES!!!

Have a wonderful afternoon and Good Vibes to all of you :)

Hi Zen,
Knock on wood. We are playing well in these days.
I Hope they ride high against the Holos.
Stranger in a Strange Land is a very good book.
As you know, reading a book which you read long time ago, is like encountering an old friend.
Best vibes to you and yours, my friend.
GO YANKEES....

After the crazy hitting of last night Maria, let us have a calm Andy on the hill, and hope our hitters can get to Dan Haren early and often.A shame that Phil could not get the job done yesterday, but I do not see Joe giving up on him...Yet.Vibes to ALL our injured Yankees and we want them back as soon as they are ready.Post you tomorrow Maria.Lori's birthday tomorrow, and I must send her an e-mail to congratulate her.Hugs to you all.L.John.and all.xxxxx
