2012 NCAA TOURNAMENT - 2ND ROUND - Thursday March 15th, 2012 - Alburqueque, New Mexico
Known as the 'PIT' Arena

#5 Vanderbilt 79 #12 Harvard 70 (final score)

What I expect from a Harvard basketball player discuss:

"Our intelliegent and knowledge basketball team have went to Alburqueque, New Mexico over the weekend and play an earthly dugged out arena known as 'The Pit'"

The surroundings of the basketball court located below ground level at levels several hundred feet. We feel like a dugged out mine field. The acoustical reverbations of the fans echoing in our ear senses create a threshold hearing pain of decibels well above the average highest noise levels.

Our opponent is a southern ivy league school named Vanderbilt, one of the famous millionaire elites of way back then, who created that school in the Deep South.

While this great Harvard school visiting the Desert Southwest, we have enjoy our duration over the weekend exploring the artifacts and Southwestern architecture of adobe construction and the thickness of walls that have a energy savings that curtail heating and cooling calculations of thermal comfort.

We also enjoy the abundance of solar and the Indian culture with the arts.

2012 Western Regionals - Phoenix, Arizona

Louisville vs Michigan State
Florida vs Marquette

2 Midwestern teams visiting 75 degrees in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Milwaukee Brewers spring training site is in the Phoenix area for baesabll.
Well not so quite for the Tigers (Detroit) nor the Marlins/Rays for the Florida Gators if they want to catch some spring training baseball.

I hope these 4 schools can enjoy great Mexican and Southwestern entrees.
No west coast teams but I'm sure you see a Wisconsin/Michigan related person going there.

Things to chill out in Boston before game.

1) Carry I-phone/I-pad, only have NCAA tournament coverage.
2) Stay out of the bars in the morning, early afternoon.
3) Walk in Quincy Market/Fanueil Hall stroll around, go shop.
4) Stroll around Copley Square.
5) If possible on a rainy day, spend your time at JFK museum.
6) Get your mind out of basketball for a while - too nervous.
7) Visit some of the bars in Boston.
8) Here have a pretzel, good there in Boston.
9) Tour Fenway Park, that should stop your nervous tensions.
10) Hang out at Boston Harbour, walk/run around Charles River.

Eat before the game.
I expect more Syracuse fans to buy out all the seats from Wisconsin/Cincinnati fans.
Man does the Orange fans invaded Boston.

Remembering again
2012 ACC Tournament - Atlanta, Georgia - 1st round

NC State had a 12-0 lead over Boston College, whom lost 90 percent of the production from last season.

There is a lot of stuff that needs to be done offseason you know.

37-24 halftime lead not good for BC. But NC State had a better season.
Thur March 8th 2012 ACC 1st round.

Final score: NC State 78 Boston College 57

What is like to attend the Elite 8 Regional Final:

Usually I be having a drink.
More likely some sports bar near the arena with other fans.
It would be like a weekend, not dress too tightly like on a workday.
Sunny, spring-very like day. Baseball around the corner.
Wearing shades.
Fans all tense up, with game programs in their hands.
Recently fans would have twitter, facebook, social media about the upcoming game like 24/7
Cellphones conversations about the biggest game.

Yep I been to four of them. Never been to a Final Four game.
This is the highest level of collegiate basketball game I could attend.

Everyone in the bar were thinking......."Final Four"
Like some kind of bar enterance exam easy to fly by ...........but no.

Everyone wearing their school colors and the super fans who are serious have faces and bodies all painted color up.

Home made signs, pompoms, and confetti, and balloons of school colors.

I was there last year.

I think I be there next season.

Until now, I would let the fans sweat it out LOL.

Not fun when your serious fan.

I'm not, I quit that way years ago. Can't afford some possible heart attack.

Hey man you gotta live man.

Last year I sat way way on top and the die hart fans a few rows up stomped their feet and were the loudest of the whole loud arena.

ha ha !
