True to the Yankee lineup. But Soriano was also successful in Texas. He had a monster season I believe with the Nats too.

I believe Blalock, Young and Teixeira were all there during Soriano's time with the Rangers. They were all good. The Nats though didn't have anything. With the Cubs he had Derrek Lee and Aramis Ramirez. So the worst lineup was with Washington.

Ramirez and Lee are nothing special now, but they were solid players when Soriano arrived in Chicago.

The other factor is that Wrigley is a real hitter's park which makes the drop-off even more pronounced.

I watched an interview with Hank Aaron and he made the assessment that Soriano had the tools to challenge his career HR mark. That's quite an endorsement there.
