Where would he be optioned to on Sept 1? Besides, the Nats will need three catchers in September, and Solano is it. If he's ready to go Sept 1, he'll be activated and on the team. If not, then Sandy Leon will be back on Sept 1, along with a couple of pitchers, Corey Brown and probably Chris Marrero.

Dude, you write/type like a drunken simian with carpel tunnel syndrome, but from my parsing of this post, you state that he could be activated and optioned after 9/1. If you meant "he can be activated after 9/1 and remain on the expanded rosters or they can activate him before 9/1 and option him to minors until rosters expand", then let me know. Using punctuation and writing in complete sentences can really help the board out.
