First, no, I do not believe they are the same thing...................but like I said, animals do not have any concept of time so the amount of suffering is not relevant. I also know that very few animals drop where they are shot, and with a bow it is almost a given that you will have to go find the animal.

I fully support hunting (most animals), in fact, I think pigs and some other invasive species should not only be hunted, but eradicated in many parts of the world.

I do not advocate animal cruelty when it comes to dogs, but the amount of suffering by a dog should not be held any higher than the amount of suffering by a forest animal in my opinion.

Most likely, yes. Which is why ownership of these animals should be restricted. IMO you should have to take a series of safety classes to own one just like when you apply for a concealed weapon permit.

Funny...my Chihuahua Dexter, Lab Shelby and cat Max have never been involved in any incidents like the ones you show here.

Pit Bulls (I mean c'mon, the word PIT is in there name..as in Pit Fighter!) should be slowly erased from the planet. As someone else has said, they bring nothing to the table beyond being a guard dog. And people who keep them as pets, are bringing trouble to their neighborhoods.
