There's the redfactor thread. He went all redfactor and got himself banned, so his posts are gone. He started the thread with something like this: "Am I missing something? I am trying to get an aviator but I can't seem to get it up."

The good posts weren't from him, anyway.

Anyway, Beavis, Redfactor got mad at everyone for making fun of his aviator. He started several hundred threads with the topic as his current post count. Ruined the board for a couple days until the mods could ban him.

The actual thread was short, but it created no less than three commonly used expressions on this board. "Aviator", of course. "Going Redfactor". Even the term "Meltdown" came into general usage thanks to that thread.

The dude went completely redfactor.

Ok, we need a 10 point system to describe exactly just how "redfactor" someone has gone.

10 will be a total meltdown redfactor and 1 will be considered a minor flareup. Using this scale as your guide, what number would you give to the redfactor thread?

Here's the thing. When he went redfactor, I was sure that was a ten. I couldn't even conceive of the possibility of a more complete collapse. Then Kasko61 blowed up real good.

Kasko's meltdown eclipsed Grenobyl. That has to be a ten. I'd give Redfactor a 9.0, though. That was a great meltdown.

CincyURed is currently running a little hot. I'd put him at about a 2.5-3.0 at the moment. He could still pull it back or he could go off the deep end.

REDSCAPSLOCK registered about a 6.5 in my opinion. He's a disappointment when it comes to blowin' up good. He had so much potential, too. It's a real shame.

I feel like CAPSLOCK still has potential. I think he KNOWS it and is doin his best to pull it back.

Doug actually did check out the board after Kasko went redsfactor. Somebody had (again) stolen his words Kasko-style. Doug offered a pithy comment "Can we not just copy and paste my work?"

Kraz was just stealing from Doug Gray in Leakean fashion. Totally shameless. No attribution. No link. No acknowledgement that the thoughts were anyone's other than his own.

REDSCAPSLOCK is borderline because he had a few meltdowns and within those meltdowns he had meltdowns when defending his meltdowns. I'll go on public record to state that Crastro and Redfactor are had equal meltdowns but I have to give my vote to Krasko because he was once ok. Who knows if Redfactor was ever ok.
