This is the first round through for them, maybe they're trying to conserve the younger arms a bit, plus they have lots of guys they want to see.

I think it would be detrimental to play your own division often, the teams know each other enough already.

It probably has to do with how close the stadiums are to each other, though.

That's my saying but I think its a reasonable question. I would like to see a lot more of the Rays, Red Sox, and Yankees. We play those 3 teams a combined 8 times. Would like to see some of that Rays pitching before they murder us in the regular season. They probably will anyway but some at-bats would be nice.

It has to do with what teams have spring training complexes in Florida...
