    • Ha ha ha! Bautista throws Harper out at 3rd base
  • 6/12/12

Anyone who says this kind of thing is simpoly a hater and so jealous of a 19 year old kid that it isn't even funny.

Ever watch how hard that kid plays? Unless u are just some troll you will have to hope he is in pinstripes in the future.

He froze on the line drive past him and that caused him to get pegged.

Not to mention Bautista has a Howitzer for a right arm. God forbid a 19 year old makes a mistake being overly aggressive.

third base coach waved him around, which he picked up perfectly just before hitting second base. the kid's baseball intelligence is through the roof, and his fundamentals are pretty much flawless. and beyond that, he's carried himself incredibly well and handled all the pressure and attention very well considering his reputation prior to his callup. pretty lame to try to knock him for getting thrown out at third on a ridiculous thrown when his coach waved him around.

If he were in pinstripes this thread would be about how awesome his uber aggressive style of play is.

"stupid nationals not smart enough to lock up such a talent...all their priorities are on strassburg.."

IMO the Nationals are not stupid, last time I looked they were in 1st place. They did draft harper and bring him up this season. He is more then holding his own.

Harper is under team control through the end of the 2018 season. So, a ways away. His current contract is good for two more years, so I anticipate he will get a huge 10-year deal in a few years. Or the Nats will just roll the dice and pay him market rate in arbitration for four years.
