The big thing for him is how cheap his contract is. If he hits close to something like .285/.340/.400 in 250+ PA, he's a bargain.

I love the fact that his deal was low risk, high reward. If he does great, great! If not, he's not making a ton of money, an he could still be a decent bat in a pinch hitters role. Gotta be better than counsell in that role, right?
