Makes me love/respect Brett even more... All that he's had to deal with... To be this good and to have so much heart in the game... Such an incredible story and it's exciting to witness this chapter in his life!

The family had gone for a vacation in the winter. It was just Nicole and Danielle at that time; Brett wasn't even born yet. A friend of theirs took her out to play in the snow, but he lost concentration and didn't remember that she was out there with him. Nicole was run over by the snowblower and killed. They weren't even going to have a third child, but when Nicole died they decided to try again, and that's when they had Brett.

He had an older sister that died tragically at five years old before he was born. Because of that, his parents decided to have another child (Brett) as they had only ever planned to have two. Very well done story by Jamie Campbell.

Lawries were not a rich family so they didn't plan on having another child. That changed when Nicole died so Brett Lawrie happened.
