There is a meteor shower going on right now.

I saw some impressive streaks across the sky earlier. I going to go outside and watch for more.

I was on a lake in the northwoods. That was a very impressive show.

7 years ago today, a large tornado outbreak hit south-central Wisconsin, including a F-3 that directly hit Stoughton.
Today, in honor of that event, there was a waterspout outbreak on Lake Michigan.

We were at someone's lakehouse near Stoughton that day. Luckily we left before the severe weather came.

I missed the tornado by maybe 10 miles. I was on my way home from Madison.

I bet you got a lot of good pictures that day.

I wish. I had a cruddy camera and I was too excited to pull over and take good pictures.
I got 4 pics of the tornado, and they are all out of focus.
I did get some great pictures of the storms as they developed from an hour west of Madison.

It is nice here, but of course it is, it is Minnesota

The sun has just come out here in central WI.

I went to the beach for awhile and it was nice. It makes me sad though because summer is almost over, I know I'm one of the few to feel that way. Fall is ok but winter is just terrible how do people like it?? I could enjoy winter sports but I really don't like being cold.

Winter would be fine if it was only for three months. Nov to April is too long.
