I accidentally turned on the Gottlieb show yesterday and he was gone as usual. Linda Cohn was in there with some guy and the guy said he believes the Pirates will be competitive for a few seasons before the Bucks or Wolves. He said it is almost impossible to win in a small market in the NBA now unless you find gold in the draft. Of course the draft is mainly a joke now.

You can make the playoffs but you need two superstars to win it all. Well, one for sure and a borderline superstar.

Well they are up there because they got high draft picks for years in a row, top 5 with Westbrook and Durant I believe. Wolves had high draft picks forever, and they finally hit on Love/Rubio. It would be nice if the Bucks were drafting higher but then actually hitting on picks.

Gotta say, looks better than what they had going into last year. They really need to pick up another SG or SF so I'd expect another trade, maybe a free agent signing, wouldn't be bad to trade Gooden.

After signing Ersan, they need to amnesty Gooden or trade him. I'm not gonna sit and watch another season of guys with potential like Sanders, Udoh and Henson ride the bench, and I know how Skiles hates rookies. Those guys need to be getting minutes.

Yeah with Ersan back I just can't see them keeping Gooden, I mean with Ersan, Udoh, Sanders, Henson, Dalembert, there's just no room for Gooden.

I'm glad Turkish Thunder re-signed with the Bucks. Good move.
