Nineteen pitches but Tommy did a nice job. He faced three batters and got them all out. That's the idea. Striking out Bautista was great.

Yes! Our leadoff batter, Chavez, led off with a single.

Double for Hardy!

Dayum. Jones scored the runner but he hit into a DP to do it.

Ah! One run with the bases loaded and nobody out. Not a good way to take advantage of that situation.

Things were shaky in the infield, too, but Hunter got the outs again. Still 1-0, good guys.

Yeah, and I'm sour.

Describe the difference and you're the winner.

Nice play at third by Flaherty... good reaction/good throw.

Hunter has thrown 83 pitches through 5 innings but he's held Toronto to 3 hits (one, a solo home run) and only walked two. He has 3 strikeouts and has looked really solid. Matt Wieters' homer off the left fielder's glove gives us a 2-1 lead with 5 innings complete.

It sure would have helped if the Orioles had made more out of that bases loaded/no outs situation in the first.

Nice job by Patton. Who will close tonight if we need one?

"Who will close tonight if we need one?"

My vote goes to Pedro Strop, oh, that's right, I don't get a vote.

O'Day finished off Mathis in a hurry.

In the Blue Jays eighth, Escobar's a RH hitter, Johnson is a lefty, and Bautista's a righty. I'd leave O'Day in for the next inning. Maybe Strop can pitch the ninth for us.

Alvarez is at 86 pitches. Get ready to see Flaherty's first hit.

"Maybe Strop can pitch the ninth for us."

Just as long as it's not Gregg, I'm cool.
