Haha, you're probobly right. Halladay was just the first guy to pop into my head. I forgot about Kazmir. If Kazmir starts the season healthy, then he will probobly lead the AL in strikeouts.

Well thats not happening because Kazmir has already started the season unhealthy, I read on the Rays site that they have tabbed Shields as the opening day starter.

Oh, OK. Will Kazmir be ready at the beginning of the season? Or is he already going to miss a couple weeks at the beginning of the season, or longer? If he is ready by his first start and can stay healthy, he could be the strikeout leader. He's a great pitcher.

His return time is a bit vague according to the Rays site, but I thought I read somewhere a couple months ago that he would miss a couple of starts,I could be wrong though. And I hope he does have a great season, because I have him on several fantasy teams and I was banking on a season just as good as last.

I think they'll get much different years from Padillia and Millwood, as well as solid seasons from Kinsler and Young, and MVP consideration worthy numbers from Hamilton. They'll also get 2003-2006 Hank Blalock back. When I look at the Athletics' pitching staff, I see a pitching staff no better than Texas', and possibly the worst outfield in baseball, on both sides of the ball.

In Texas, I expect big things from catcher, second base, shortstop, third base, center field, and MAYBE first base.
In Oakland, I expect big things from first base, and maybe catcher.

Indeed. But I don't think M-Young is an if at all, and I think Kinsler will keep on getting better.

Yeah, we Brewer fans have been there. lol He has always shown promise in the minors with a sub 3 ERA. He was not that great in the relief role or a starter in the bigs. He has a career 1.96 WHIP.
