Nice thing about basketball is that you can't hide your faults.

Either you have the ability to get separation, or you don't. At the end of a close game, it's almost always the two best players on the court going head-to-head. It's not the Pinch Hitter who's the 23rd guy off the bench. Or a QB of a team with a strong defense who has to do *just* enough to get into FG range. Or a relief pitcher with that uncanny ability to get balls hit at guys. There's just way less "luck" involved with being successful in the NBA.

Lin has shown the ability to consistently get separation, get to the hoop and find his teammates. Sure, he'll struggle eventually. But in basketball more than any other sport, the "tools" translate. If you got it, you got it. He could should shoot 4-18 and score 11 points but still help his team with a half-dozen assists and all the things a point guard can do to make his teammates better.

He's not the next CP3 or anything, but I don't see why he can't be a consistent 15 and 8 guy for a few years. Plenty of value in that.

Yeah, it would've been nice if Ellison would've owned the Warriors but, I'll admit, I like what Lacob is trying to do with this team. He's committed to seriously turning this franchise around, and he's actually been agressive in trying to bring FA's here. Something that Cohan didn't do. Lacob wants the Warriors to be a winner really bad, but it's really going to take time. I feel bad for him at times. Lacob is trying so hard to try to turn the Warriors into a winner. At least he cares though.

It really will be interesting if Ellison decides to own the Hornets and move them to San Jose. There was a rumor last year that he was going to do that, but I haven't heard anything on that since then. Ever since he lost out on the bid to own the Warriors, you kind of wonder if he still wants to own an NBA team. He wanted to own the Warriors. I was shocked at the time, when I heard that Lacob and Guber won the bid to own the Warriors.

I am loving the Linsanity, but quite frankly the Warriors have enough 6'3" guards on this team. Realistically he wasn't going to beat out Curry or Monta for a starting spot. However, he could have made Ellis expendable to trade for a big man. When you're 29th in the league in rebounding you aren't going to win many games.....You can't really give teams that many 2nd chances to score.......

What happened to Andris Biedrins, that guy used to average a double-double every night and now he's virtually invisible out there?

"What happened to Andris Biedrins, that guy used to average a double-double every night and now he's virtually invisible out there"

Andris Biedrins = Huge huge FLOP!

And the Warriors could have used the exception rule to get out of this Lithuanian nightmare. Never seen such a worthless, extremely overpaid, NOTHING of Center in my life. With the outstanding play the Warriors are getting out of David Lee this year, a little contribution from the Center position could have made for a decent year.

And while I am ranting, whoever gave Jeremy Lin away for nothing outta be fired yesterday!

He's on fire already. 5 points on two nice drives to the rim and a free throw..And as I'm typing, a perfect dish for a dunk..

"Not using the exception on the stiff from Lithuania,"

Im completely caught off guard that the Warriors released someone and he went on to play all star caliber basketball somewhere else...flat out amazed...

Oh wait...no im not...nothing has changed, will change...and the warriors should just be contracted and done with...and with them, <bob fitzpatrick should be hung from the rafters...where he can conclude his arrogant homerism in one final last stand..

I am not a huge basketball person, but the "Linsanity" is good for the sport. When was the last time a basketball player was actually spoken about that had the potential to be a household name at this point. He's a feelgood at this point.

For some fun, call up Fitz's show on KNBR and complain about David Lee, he will go berserk. Fitz has foot and mouth disease. Give the foot to anyone connected with the Warriors and Fitz's mouth starts frothing. Although he has a difficult time defending Biedrins, he stumbles around a bit but manages to come up with something. Rod has to play along and get all self righteous, it's hilarious. At least Gary knows how to have fun with negative callers but Fitz, he's the fighting Leprechaun when his Dubs are dissed.

The same guy calls him every day at 12:30 to complain about Lee LOL! This time the caller pointed out that Lin was moved to free up $$ for the offer sheet to Jordan and Fitz made that disappear with some mumbo-jumbo. I'm afraid one of these nights he's going to come out with pom-poms and a Warriors girl outfit.
