Indeed... ~.750 OPS for the first two months of 2011, and .950+ the rest of the way.

If he was on the Cubs, people on here would be calling for him to be cut outright.

He is seeing pitchers he never saw before. I believe that has a lot to do with his trouble.

Baseball players are creatures of habit. Some adjust quickly to wholesale change, and some don't. I find it hard to believe Pujols is gong to suddenly "not hit" for a season or more.

I think it's more about unfamiliarity with the pitchers in his new league than anything else.

He still hasn't got the monkey off his back so to say. Hasn't hit that 1st home run which I believe has made him press and alter his swing getting away from what has been so successful for him throughout his career.

Disagree. Pujols can and will hit any pitcher. While it certainly doesn't help him. He is still going out of the zone right now and swinging at pitches he normally doesn't swing at. If and when he stops pressing, he will be thee Pujols we all know.

Sure he can hit any pitcher, but he can really hit a pitcher he's seen before and has more scouting reports on. I cant really speak for Albert and his swing this year, since i havent seen an Angels game yet...............but i've seen 11 years of Albert and know he's very capable of going into huge slumps like any player. When he's off, he tends to expand his zone........especially low and outside pitches, and tries to pull everything. When he's on............well you've seen what he can do

They have been playing pull shifts on him lately because he is trying to pull everything in sight.
