Throw that ball back to that dad and his little girl for a story they'll talk about the rest of their lives
...and a souvenir from CBP to prove it.

Only been here 2 months...hopefully going back to Vegas in January. I have Extra Innings so I usually get the away broadcasters and like I said, Grace (DBacks) and Dibble are the worst.

actually, werth's swing is fairly compact, he just looks like he guesses more than he sees and adjusts. His swing is fairly fundamentally ok - hands in, drives the ball the other way - i just hope he continues to improve.

She should be ejected for throwing an object, maybe even be charged with assault.

jk

It would be cool if the person below returned it though.

It was just a joke. I was mocking those who think he's bad and fielding, hitting, etc.

Problem is of course, they didn't see what we did and only saw a "loose" ball rolling around and
it's the typical battle for the souvenir ball between all those phans below.

I say sign Werth to an extension is the first choice - too good a player. I still think of that play he made in the all star game as on of the best outfield plays I've seen this year

What do you then do with Taylor/Brown. I would really like to convert one of them to a 3B, but many have said there is no way.

i posted that in another thread - its going to be interesting... he may command big money, but goodness, he's a winning piece - great d, good base running, .370 obp, 30+ hr's... he's a guy who is a good piece to a good line up.

Where was that pitch?

yeah its not a possibility - but its going to be interesting. Brown has a spot - he walks right into Ibanez's spot - all start, left handed hitting - but he's MUCH faster (faster than taylor) and MUCH better defensively (supposedly better than Taylor).

Taylor is the guy who gets hosed if they re up Werth

Brown takes over for Ibanez. Taylor...not sure. I think the Phils would be willing to trade him if it can help their pitching.

The way dad was hugging her it was as if she knew she "did something wrong" and he was trying to console her...
"it's ok (place kid's name here), it was only a stupid ball hon, we'll try and get another, ok? But this one, you keep."
